Senior Manager: IT at South African Pharmacy Council

REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Information Technology management position. A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations as well experience in implementation of information technology integrations in a medium-sized organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Align IT objectives and programs to enterprise objectives and strategies.
• Align IT risk management with enterprise-wide risk management. 
• Optimize costs of services through a mix of internal and external resources. 
• Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements.
• Assumes responsibility for effective employee relationship management in the Department: IT and Records
• Prepare and control the departmental budget in terms of SAPC procurement and financial policies.
• Reports to the Chief Operating Officer on all matters regarding his/her KPAs.
