Duties and Responsibilities    
Master Data Management

• Accurate and ongoing creation and maintenance of Material Master(Finished Goods, Raw, Wrap, Traded and Engineering), Vendor Master, Customer Master data and Cost centres in SAP following the prescribed convention and internal procedures
• Escalate issues and solutions as necessary and appropriate
• Ensures confidentiality and protection of sensitive reports or information
• Monthly data integrity checks to ensure 100% data integrity and uniformity and to verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of master data including supporting documentation before it is loaded in SAP
• To provide monthly diagnostic reporting on Material Master, Vendor Master and Customer Master
• Ensure Master data counts are done by day 2 of month-end and submitted to the master data team leader
• Advise and train users on the policies and procedures of Master data to ensure and facilitate compliance
• Timeous maintenance of Business Units list prices for materials to ensure accuracy for true sales performance to be measured
• Credit vetting of all new customer accounts and customer limit increases via Experian
• Bank code requests for all new vendor submissions are monitored and in line with SLA with Experian
• Accurate maintenance and correct issuing of business units finished goods barcodes for materials
• Accurate maintenance and management of master data workflow system to enhance the speed of new requests and requests for changes for materials, vendors, customers and cost centres
• Achieve agreed customer service levels (SLA) consistently
• Provides requested documents to auditors
• Assist with any ad hoc tasks, initiatives or projects related to the management and improvement of master data

Project Management

• Play a key role in collecting, coordinating, and cleaning all master data for any new acquisitions and onboarding of new customers
• Preparing the master data upload files for integration onto SAP for the project team, ensuring consistency and accuracy, within the given timeframes and deadlines and following operational expectations

Experience Required    

• At least 1-year experience Master Data

Minimum Qualifications Required    

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma or Degree advantageous

Knowledge Required    

• A good understanding of the SAP material, vendor and customer master fields, functionality and data requirements
• SAP knowledge
• Intermediate MS Excel
