Senior Mobility Technical Analyst - Johannesburg at AVI Limited

• The purpose of the role is to investigate, design and build mobile-friendly user interfaces that can integrate with an SAP ERP back-end. Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules - including SAP PO, Portal and SharePoint. Perform complex JavaScript programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation Neptune/Fiori applications. Propose mobile solutions to business whilst working closely with development team to timeously deliver these solutions. Transfer of business and technical knowledge to the greater team and provide technical guidance and mentoring of developers. Responsible for the maintaining and upgrading of the mobility landscape. Assist in the ongoing support of the existing and future mobile applications including troubleshooting and issue resolution, including clear and timeous customer communication. Work with established PMO (Project Management Office) and in some cases self-manage the deployment of new mobile functionality using an Agile Scrum approach in order to ensure the best fit between technical build and customer requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:                                                                   

• At least 5 years ABAP experience
• 5 years Neptune Software development experience
• 5 years web development (jQuery,JavaScript, HTML) experience

At least 2 years’ experience with Agile Methodology

Qualifications:

• Matric/Grade 12
• Tertiary Qualification with an IT major
• National Diploma: Information Technology - Software Development
• Diploma in Computer Science would be advantageous 

Additional Requirements:

• ABAP certified
• Java Developer Certification would be beneficial
• Certificate User Experience Design would be beneficial
• SharePoint knowledge beneficial
