    Senior Operations and Business Reporting Specialist - Midrand

    Overview

    • A Senior Operations and Reporting Business Analyst in the VB Indirect Channel will be  responsible for providing operational support to the sales team, ensuring efficient and effective sales processes and procedures. This role involves analysing sales data, generating reports, managing sales tools and technologies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize sales performance and drive revenue growth.

    Roles and Responsibilties

    Sales Data Analysis: 

    • Analyse sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. Monitor sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales team performance. Conduct regular sales forecasting and pipeline analysis to provide accurate revenue projections across multiple product towers, business segments and sales channels. 

    Sales Tools and Technology Management:

    •  Administer and maintain sales tools and technologies, such as CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, and reporting tools.
    • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, leveraging technology to improve sales efficiency.

     Reporting and Analytics:

    • Generate regular reports and dashboards for sales leadership and Senior Stakeholders. Monitor and analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement, verify trends and develop actionable recommendations.
    • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by the sales team and management. Assist in the development and implementation of sales incentive programs and initiatives to motivate and reward the sales team.
    • Create both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed
    • Adhere to weekly, monthly and Year on Year reporting, deadlines and targets
    • Conduct regular analysis of sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and make recommendations for improvement.

    Sales Support and Collaboration: 

    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide operational support, address inquiries, and resolve issues. Liaise with other departments, such as Sales Commission team, Billing, Indirect Mobile and operations, to ensure seamless sales operations. Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
    • Work closely with finance/ Commisssion to ensure accurate and timely sales commission report and calculations. 

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or similar IT Certification
    • CRM System Experience
    • Report Development and SQL Essential
    • Business and Reporting Analysis
    • Qualification in Business Administration

    Experience Required

    • <2 Years Siebel experience will be preferrable
    • CRM and Telecoms Experience Essential
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to manage and meet stringent deadlines
    • QlikSense Development will be an advantage
    • Reporting Development and Business Analysis
