    Senior Order Entry Clerk - Merebank

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    Reporting to the Financial Controller, the incumbent will be responsible for processing of orders, and ensuring governance within the call centre by monitoring of identified risk areas within the area of responsibility and will be required to support the greater team by ensuring high quality of service delivery within the call centre to the rest of the business.

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERTISE

    • Matric 
    • Diploma in credit control or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 5 years in the Paper Industry will be advantageous.

    JOB EXPERIENCE: 

    • A minimum 3-year credit control experience preferably in a sales and commercial environment. 
    • Call centre experience will be an advantage.

    RESPONSIBILITIES / KPAS:

    • Sales order processing
    • Ensure correct pricing to customers and within required approval.    
    • Ensure Call centre governance and risk mitigation.
    • Handling customer queries.
    • Identify areas for continuous improvement within the CSC team for the Paperlink business.        
    • Ensure month end reporting requirements / Internal and external audit queries are handled timeously.

    JOB COMPETENCIES / ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS – ESSENTIAL

    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Good work ethics and responsible handling of sensitive information.
    • Good time management and planning
    • Self-motivated
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision
    • Possess good communication skills (written and verbal), including presentation skills        
    • Ability to deal with customers across all levels of the organization       
    • Be customer focused.
    • Resilience / Be adaptable to any situation
    • Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)    
    • SAP knowledge will be advantageous
    • Effective communication skills
    • People skills plus an ability to work collaboratively with a team.
