    Senior People Partner

    Main Purpose of the Role

    The ideal candidate for the role is a passionate people lover. This role is best suited to the HR Practitioner who thinks outside the box and is dynamic and creative in their approach towards solving business & people problems. They have a well-rounded understanding of the role of HR in business and can own their seat at the table by demonstrating high levels of business acumen, strategic thinking and heart and mind for people progression initiatives in business.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum BCom Honours in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology (Masters Degree is highly advantageous)
    • Minimum 4 years within a Human Resources Management environment in a fast-growing organization
    • Demonstrated ability in Talent and Leadership Development strategies
    • Knowledge of BCEA & LRA
    • Strong IR background including CCMA experience
    • Be able to work independently
    • Ability to critically analyze and solve business problems at a Strategic level

    Key Areas of Responsibility

    Workforce Planning Management

    • Executes a strategic talent strategy, which encompasses recruiting, developing, and retaining employees, aligned to the organization’s value proposition and that focuses on building a quality and depth of talent at each level of leadership within the organization
    • Manages and develops a leadership standard framework and associated programs to develop and embed a 3-tier leadership approach at every level of the organization. Manages the organizational architecture

    Talent Lifecycle Management

    • Manages the employee experience journey for business
    • Plan and oversee all recruitment and onboarding initiatives
    • Manages the Talent management framework
    • Manages all People development planning, initiatives, recording, and reporting
    • Facilitates communication for educating the organization in key areas of learning and development, risk & compliance, company policies, and procedures, and the employee experience
    • Facilitate with the executives, managers and team leads to develop employee development plans and performance appraisal processes

    Employee Wellness and Engagement

    • Create an engaging and positively challenging environment for employees to thrive in and aim to sustain high levels of employee retention i.e. Employee Value Proposition, wellness and engagement, internal communication, staff activations etc

    Organizational Development / Change Management

    • Ability to study and implement practices, systems, and techniques that affect organizational change
    • Partners with Senior leadership team to solve critical business issues

    HR Governance and Compliance

    • Ensures we maintain 100% compliance with all statutory bodies. The successful candidate has end to end experience in this area and will be required to oversee all deliverables pertaining to HR governance and Compliance

    People Management

    • Demonstrates a type of leadership characterised by a participative approach to leadership and people enablement

    Working conditions

    • Remote work, with occasional travel
    • Extended working hours, as required
