Description

• Manages all air quality issues in terms of Air Quality Act 2004 
• Co-ordinate an integrated air quality service to respond in respect of legislative requirements
• Enforce specific procedures and measures on residents, commercial and industrial business;
• Co-ordinates and participate in the delivery of awareness and educational programmes on environmental health approaches to safe and healthy living to the community;
• Co-ordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result in indicators the functionality;
• Identify and evaluate Environmental Health Impacts from Industries and Communities association with Air Quality Deterioration within the district with a view of incorporating emission reduction strategies for a healthier community;
• To review Environmental Health Impact Assessments;
• Manage project, respond to NEMA Section 30 Incidents, providing air quality expertise, in the review of EIAs, addressing environmental management risks relating to Air quality;

Requirements

• National Diploma in Environment Health
• Code EB Driving License
• 3 Years relevant experience
