Senior Process Assessor (Electrical) at eThekwini Municipality

Key Responsibility Areas

• Assumes responsibility for the introduction and extension of labour control systems, productivity schemes and investigations relating to the optimum use of resources.
• Studies current relevant Management Services work literature to design and plan new procedures.
• Presents to clients on project matters and supervises the implementation of agreed recommendations.
• Develops and presents work study appreciation and training courses for all employees and other clients.
• Undertake studies of jobs to evaluate the work content and assesses labour strengths through work study techniques.
• Examines and reports on various productivity systems and organisational structure of departments within eThekwini Electricity as well as methods, procedures and projects.
• Liaises with Manager Productivity regularly with regard to projects, procedures and work standards.
• Controls the computerised work study standards database.
• Manages the productivity of work study staff and trains them on work study theory, rating exercises and application of rest allowances.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Operations Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 3 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Operations Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Project Management Certificate.
• 4 Years relevant experience.
