    Deputy Head (Transport Com & Marketing)

    Senior Process Assessor (Electrical)

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Assumes responsibility for the introduction and extension of labour control systems, productivity schemes and investigations relating to the optimum use of resources.
    • Studies current relevant Management Services work literature to design and plan new procedures.
    • Presents to clients on project matters and supervises the implementation of agreed recommendations.
    • Develops and presents work study appreciation and training courses for all employees and other clients.
    • Undertake studies of jobs to evaluate the work content and assesses labour strengths through work study techniques.
    • Examines and reports on various productivity systems and organisational structure of departments within eThekwini Electricity as well as methods, procedures and projects.

    Depot Supervisor Assistant

    Key Responsibility Areas:

    • Issues specialised tools and equipment to field staff by allocating items concerned from the Depot Supervisors Plant and Equipment stores.
    • Records the issue of the items concerned in a register.
    • Receives previously issued specialized tools and equipment from field staff members in good order, recording the date the item was received in the register and replacing the item in the correct store.
    • Collects stores and materials ordered by the Depot Supervisor, or other staff member in preparation for pre-arranged work.
    • Loads and transports the items to the Depots Supervisors workshop by hand or trolley.
    • Conducts general depot maintenance with the Depot Supervisor by performing minor servicing and/or repairs to items of plant and equipment
    • Reports abnormalities or situations that might have safety implications.

    Senior Project Liaison Officer

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Manages and co-ordinates the Community Liaising Section, attends to queries from both the public and Council and provides support to Director (Development), Project Co-ordinator and Project Management Team.
    • Co-ordinates tasks and the performance of Community Liaison Officer and Development Facilitation Officer.
    • Co-ordinates and attends meetings of development projects, service providers, contractors and consultants, officials and councillors.

    Clerk

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Maintain and control an asset register for all assets within the unit.
    • Monitor the movement of assets outside the unit and make the necessary adjustments on the asset register.
    • Record the conditions of assets that are in the deteriorating phase and motivate for

    • Liaise with stores and register all the newly acquired assets.
    • Conduct an investigation on missing assets and provide a full report to the immediate superior.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Determines the needs of the clusters and units within the Municipality with regards to Occupational Health Nursing and First Aid aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety Service.
