Key Responsibility Areas

• Maintain and control an asset register for all assets within the unit.
• Monitor the movement of assets outside the unit and make the necessary adjustments on the asset register.
• Record the conditions of assets that are in the deteriorating phase and motivate for
• replacement where applicable.
• Liaise with stores and register all the newly acquired assets.
• Conduct an investigation on missing assets and provide a full report to the immediate superior.
• Allocate identification members onto the assets.
• Provide a report on the status of the assets on a monthly basis to the immediate superior.
• Develop and implement a preventative measure against the disappearance and theft of assets.
• Attend relevant meetings.
• Undertakes related assignments.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 3 Months relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements

• 6 Months relevant experience.
