    Senior Process Geomet

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development, rollout, and governance of Geometallurgical Standards, Guidelines, and Reporting.
    • Provide geometallurgical support to studies, projects, and operations (with a focus on the DRC region).
    • Define and manage ore characterization programs and metallurgical laboratory testwork.
    • Develop geometallurgical block models to support Life of Asset planning.
    • Implement technical systems for data collection, modeling, and prediction of metallurgical performance.
    • Coordinate with Technical Study Managers, Mining, Geology, and Processing teams.
    • Conduct site visits to DRC operations (Kamoto and Mutanda) as required.
    • Identify best practices, standardize methodologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Mentor and coach site-based technical teams.
    • Support technical due diligence and project reviews.

    Operating Context

    • Implement Glencore Copper’s Geometallurgical Standards and Best Practices.
    • Maintain Geometallurgical Technical Systems / Frameworks.
    • Conduct Geometallurgical reviews and support technical tollgate assessments.
    • Work closely with exploration, mining, geology, and metallurgical functions to integrate geometallurgy into the resource-to-market value chain.

    Control Elements

    • Glencore Copper Technical Standards (Processing, Geometallurgy, Metal Accounting).
    • Business and Budget Planning Standards and Guidelines.
    • Study, Project, and Operational Reviews.

    Your Training, Skills & Expertise

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Geology, or a related discipline.
    • 10+ years’ experience in metallurgical and/or geometallurgical roles, preferably within copper operations.
    • Strong technical expertise in Geometallurgy, Process Mineralogy, and Metallurgical Modelling.
    • Proficiency in Geometallurgical and Mass Balance software tools.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing geometallurgical models for mine planning and project studies.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to influence technical and operational decision-making.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Bilingual in French/English is an advantage.
    • Willingness to travel regularly to the DRC.
