A 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably an Advanced Diploma / B Tech or Degree in Finance.
Computer Literacy: MS Office.
5-8 years relevant experience in financial modelling.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Experience in a public sector finance environment is advantageous.
Key Performance Areas
Develop, maintain, monitor and provide advice for the Water and Sanitation tariff and financial Framework.
Co-ordinate the administration of tariffs and related activities by setting of financial standards / benchmarks for measurement and ensuring sufficient revenue is generated for the operational needs of the Water and Sanitation Directorate.
Communicate the changes in the tariffs / tariff structure to tariff groups to ensure the customer base is well informed on Water and Sanitation Directorate tariff matters.
Draft complex reports to record research, information collection, share information, formulate conclusions, strategies and provide recommendations to management.
Provide specialist advice and guidance to the Directorate/ Departments/ Branches.
Facilitate monthly meetings with financial/ operational representatives in branches to discuss updates to tariffs.
Facilitate tariff training/ awareness sessions.
Perform general administrative duties for the Financial and Commercial Branch
