Senior Professional Officer - Services at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant B degree in Management, Administration or Facilities management
• 5-6 years’ relevant experience within Facilities Management
• Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP advantageous)
• Proven supervisory skills
• A valid Code EB drivers’ licenc

Key Performance Areas

• Assist the Head FM and Maintenance with the management of tenant related services
• Assist with the management of stakeholder’s relationship through effective communications and regular feedback
• Conduct tenant management meetings
• Ensure compliance with policies and standard operating procedures
• Management and administration of contracts, tenders, Service Level Agreement and MOAs
• Attend and chair BSC and BEC meetings
• Assume responsibility for the management of a portfolio of immovable assets
• Maintain and assist with office space audits
• Assist with the compilation of the annual capital and operating budget requirements for the area
• Maintain internal financial control and cost recoveries
• Assume responsibility for the management of operational staff and contractors
• Ensure that evacuation plans are developed and executed
• Draft reports and correspondence
• Represent the Area Head FM and Maintenance
