A Built Environment Professional B.Tech /B.Eng (Engineer, Project Manager or related professional), with a minimum of a built environment National Diploma or Advanced
Diploma/ Btech qualification and an Advanced Diploma/ BTech/ PgDip in Project Management.
Registration (PMI, SACPCMP, ECSA) will be advantageous.
Minimum of 8 years' post-graduate or directly applicable and acceptable experience in an electricity generation/distribution system and project management environment with exposure to a wide range of technologies.
Exposure to a project implementation and management environment.
Client orientated and customer focussed
Project financial analysis exposure.
A high degree of data analysis tools literacy, with relevant experience.
Valid Driver's licence: Code B.
Key Performance Areas
Developing project management frameworks and plans to guide the execution and integration of projects, programmes and resources assigned to the post and in line with corporate and business unit requirements.
Researching, analysing and disseminating factual information to support the decisions, choices and direction of high risk, complex projects.
Making final interpretive decisions on project related matters and issues of a complex nature in unpredictable environments, which have an impact across the municipality or in internal service delivery.
Developing, coordinating and/or implementing minor to medium sized programmes & major projects of a complex or high risk nature by ensuring that individual projects are effectively initiated, planned, executed, controlled and closed using agreed upon methodologies, systems and standards, while ensuring adherence to project governance requirements.
Managing and/or coordinating processes to ensure collaboration and integration amongst multiple projects, shared resources (including stakeholders), inputs and outcomes
