Key Performance Areas
Plan and conduct technical site inspections.
Receiving instruction and interpret information from the Supervisor necessary data of the site area.
Operate desktop and laptop computers with specialised software for capturing observations or anomalies accurately.
Operate specialised handheld tablets and control closed circuit television crawler devise and other technical components.
Apply specialised knowledge related to closed circuit television inspections for underground infrastructure.
Generate and compile reports for feedback on pre inspected sites in conjunction with the surveyor.
Communicates with Supervisor and operational staff in assisting with closed circuit television inspections.
To keep stock of consumables and assemble technical equipment and prepare devices to conduct inspections.
To ensure that all equipment, devices and technical components are kept in a clean environment and in working order.
Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Standard Operating Procedures / Work instructions, Policies and the requirements of the Quality Management System in the performance of duties.
