    Service Advisor & Warranty Clerk - Rola Ford Bredasdorp

    Job Advert Summary    

    • We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor & Warranty Clerk to join our dealership’s service department at the Rola Ford Bredasdorp. As one of the key representatives of our team, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their vehicles receive the care and attention they deserve.
    • Your role will involve coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, providing clear communication between clients and technicians, and delivering an exceptional service experience that builds trust and loyalty.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric or equivalent qualification
    • Min 2 years previous experience in the automotive industry as either Service Advisor and/or Warranty Clerk (Ford Brand experience advantageous)
    • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
    • Excellent communication and client service skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
    • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
    • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a passion for customer service
    • Proficient in service management software and basic computer skills
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Greeting clients and assessing their vehicle repair and maintenance needs.
    • Providing accurate estimates of repair costs and expected timeframes.
    • Scheduling service appointments and ensuring repairs are completed on time.
    • Communicating effectively with technicians and the parts department to coordinate timely completion of repairs.
    • Educating clients on preventative maintenance and recommending appropriate services.
    • Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
    • Addressing client concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Following up with clients after service to ensure satisfaction and promote customer loyalty.
