Warehouse Admin Manager
We are looking for two experienced, motivated and self-driven Admin Manager to join our dynamic team at the Rosslyn Service Centre respectively. As an Admin Manager you will be required to lead, manage and control all administrative functions and procedures in the Service Centre.
Job Purpose
This position will be required to manage the planning, managing, directing and controlling of all administrative functions throughout the Service Centre. This position will be required to ensure effective and efficient processes as well as systems are in place to provide adequate financial control and administrative support to the management of the business. These systems and procedures should include regular exception reporting and visibility of all processes to ensure sound control of all administrative processing. . This position will also be required to provide weekly and monthly financial performance updates vs forecasts and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the complete administration process of all inbound, warehousing, outbound and customer service functions within the Service Centre
2. Ensure that all stock movements are authorised, controlled and processed timeously
3. Management of all purchases at the Service Centre according to approval framework
4. Exercise administrative control over all supplier invoices and payments by applying the 3-way match principles
5. Reporting of financial performance and in-depth variance analysis compared to budgets and forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis for the Service Centre
6. Assist in the compiling of budgets and forecasts for the Service Centre
7. Comprehensive reporting on the results of all administrative processing
8. Ensure sound administrative controls are implemented and managed throughout the Service Centre
9. Identify and implement additional administrative controls where required
10. Ensure compliance to all Company policies and procedures
11. Ensure all administrative staff are adequately trained to perform duties of the highest standards
12. Management of the performance and work ethics of all administrative staff
13. Management of all administrative offices, office consumables, petty cash and cleaning staff/contractors
14. Ensure regular communication to the Financial and Commercial Manager regarding daily, weekly and monthly processing progress and any control deficiencies
Education and Experience
· Grade 12
· Appropriate BComm or equivalent financial qualification at a recognised tertiary educational institute
· 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar position
· Adequate experience working in a high volume and high pressure environment
· Adequate computer skills in Microsoft Office
· Sound knowledge and experience working on an ERP system. SAP experience will be an advantage
