Ensure that production is done according to the Production Plan
Process, HMI and Equipment understanding of the Batching, Sheeting forming and Piling operations
Start-up, continuous and shut-down activities of batching and sheet forming process steps
Ensure that all required raw materials and additives are feeding into the Mixer and relevant process points
Ensure the correct settings and process parameters are being used for the batching and greensheet formation steps
Adjust process parameters as the felt ages
Adjustment of flocculant and anti-foam flowrates
Adjust line settings to accommodate product changes
Conduct in-line quality tests and operational inspections as required
Ensure that products produced are to an acceptable standard and free from defects
Ensure wet scrap is recycles into the process
Rejection of poor-quality material
Unblocking of piping and equipment when required. This may require use of small hand tools.

The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric. It would be advantageous should the candidate have a certificate for Overhead Crane Operation or have completed a work at heights training. The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
The ideal candidate should have at least two to three years’ experience in production and have some knowledge on maintenance.
