Our client, specialising in Financial Planning are currently recruiting for a Short-Term Insurance Broker that would be based in Bedfordview, Gauteng. The successful candidate should come with at least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
Minimum Requirements
Matric
Essential: RE5 Certificate.
Essential: Relevant NQF level 4 or 5 qualification with a minimum of 120 credits.
Essential: Class of business certificates for both personal and commercial lines
Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
2 years working experience dealing with commercial and personal lines.
Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm and passion for the insurance industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
Achieve a monthly minimum target of R3,500.00 in new business commissions, to be discussed in the interview.
Identify client needs and offer insurance coverage tailored to their specific requirements.
Obtain quotations from a range of insurance providers.
Conduct face-to-face discussions with clients to review and discuss insurance quotations.
Provide clients with accurate and comprehensive advice regarding their insurance needs.
Maintain a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to consistently achieve monthly targets.
Cold calling and lead sourcing are not part of the broker's daily responsibilities. Leads are provided through inbound call centre agents and liaisons with the life, tax, and billing departments.
