    Site Maintenance Controller

    The key purpose of this role is supervise and control site services at the Brewery and which usually includes risk control, control of internal and external environmental factors, building and grounds maintenance and house-keeping and liaison with relevant local authorities in respect of environmental issues and the provision of services.​

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
    • Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation
    • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
    • Maintain, repair brewery buildings & optimize civil associated devices
    • Plant, equipment and buildings inspected and maintained through relevant processes
    • Plan and prepare the maintenance jobs and plant relevant building shut-downs
    • Schedules completion -job allocation to artisans / contractors
    • Continuously improve (optimize) brewery civil engineering appearance
    • Allocate and plan building and related maintenance tasks
    • Manage budget allocation
    • Work in Teams
    • Communicate effectively in teams
    • Contribute to self and team development
    • Apply the VPO principles & practices
    • All work is carried out using the VPO principles

    Profile:

    • Min: Grade 12
    • National Diploma
    • Min –3 -5 years production in a brewing and bottling environment
    • Formal training in Risk Control and management.
    • Comprehensive experience at the Risk Control Officer level
    • Some managers & civil knowledge
    • Knowledge of accounting principles, especially stock control. Some mechanical knowledge
    • Experience in managing others
    • Sound knowledge of security standards and procedure
