    Site Manager

    • Grade 12 Matric (REQUIRED)
    • Tertiary Education: Management/Financial/Technical Qualification (PREFFERED)
    • Valid Code B (8) Driver’s License
    • Experience in the fuel industry (PREFERRED)
    • Managerial and/or Business Administration experience (REQUIRED)
    • Experience in managing staff (REQUIRED)
    • Good interpersonal skills 
    • Computer literate (MS Excel- intermediate to advanced)
    • Must be able to operate independently
    • Physical abilities: Fit and healthy (must be able to pass mine medical exam)

    Job Overview: 

    • Manage Gulfstream operations on site (Gamsberg Mine)
    • Manage staff of 6 (4 x Depot Assistants, 2 x Technicians).
    • Maintain fuel stock levels on site including reconciliation of stock.
    • Manage HSEQ requirements on site.
    • Manage all administrative functions.
    • Manage documentation required for invoicing customers.
    • Interface with all customers.
    • Interface with head office staff.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Legal Responsibilities:

    Within your geographic area of responsibility and activities, your attention is drawn to, but not limited to the following responsibilities for compliance:

    • As per the Occupational health and Safety act no 85 of 1993- point number 16.2, the CEO of Gulfstream Energy will appoint you to ensure that the OHS act is complied with, and all legal requirements are met, on the Gamsberg Mine site.
    • In terms of Section 7 (4) of the Mine Health and Safety Act No. 29 of 1996, read with Regulations 2.9.2, you will be appointed as the legal responsible person in charge of the Gulfstream Gamsberg site.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Manage daily office administration.
    • Manage and control stock levels and reconciliation on site.
    • Manage daily customer invoicing administration.
    • Manage monthly invoicing administration.
    • Manage all human resource and staff labour requirements.
    • Represent Gulfstream at all required customer KPI performance meetings.
    • Interface with all customers on site.
    • Manage health and safety requirements on site.
    • Manage good housekeeping requirements on site.
