Site Operator at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose    

• Undertakes work associated with the planning process of the work management system by conducting inspections and verifying/ reporting on the nature and extent of the reported repair work on roads and stormwater systems

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Discuss and participates in the preparation of the work inspection/ verification programme
• Supervises outcomes and provides guidance on the application of instruction/ requirements
• Completes internal transactional documentation e.g. log sheets, progress reports and related forms
• Conducts inspections and reports on the outcomes
• Provides support in respect of specific activities associated with the receipting, issuing and movement of material/ items

Essential Requirements    

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 2 Years relevant experience
• Computer Literacy

Preferred Requirements    

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and an Administrative certificate
• 3 years relevant experience
