Site Representative – Solar PV experience essential 

We at Redheads Engineering Solutions have a limited duration contract opportunity available for an experienced Site Representative in the Northern Cape. Our client is growing their renewable energy footprint throughout Africa and looking for your skills to join their team on a project if you can show that you meet the following requirements:

• At least 10 years experience as Site Representative
• Onsite solar PV construction experience
• Experience with onsite construction quality checks
• At least a completed National Diploma, ideally a completed, relevant degree
• Good overall knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, Civils and Mechanical disciplines
• Familiar with relevant SANS codes, requirements and specifications, specifically relating to large scale solar PV plants

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Implement the QA/QC management system on site
• Coordination of quality inspections
• Cost management
• Create and maintain project reports, registers and schedules
• Overall management of the site through the sub EPC
• Responsibility for onsite safety and security
