Site Supervisor - Black Rock at Epiroc

About the Role

• Are you passionate about mining operations and team leadership? Epiroc South Africa is looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee service implementation across multiple shafts at our BlackRock site.
• This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the implementation of project services in line with contractual obligations.
• Attend and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly operational meetings.
• Identify and resolve operational shortfalls.
• Monitor and report on project performance and team productivity.
• Ensure smooth delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Promote compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Facilitate training and ensure team competency aligns with Epiroc standards.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, safety issues, and team performance.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with other Epiroc divisions on site.
• Manage team logistics including leave, PPE, medicals, and vehicles.
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold “The Epiroc Way.”

What We’re Looking For

• Trade Qualification: Millwright
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in mining (underground preferred)
• Technical Knowledge: Battery Electric Vehicles, Battery Technology, Underground Diesel TMM (LHDs, Dump Trucks, Face Drills, Bolters), Automation
• Skills: Leadership, interpersonal communication, customer relationship management, computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
