Core Responsibilities:
Manage, coordinate, develop, plan and drive an overall support services strategy of the Department, incorporating compliance policies and financial practices
Develop, plan and drive an overall support services strategy to give direction in realising the organisation's strategic objectives
Explore and implement new ways of delivering services to implement good corporate governance, and apply knowledge of support services
Develop and manage governance and compliance processes and practices to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, processes and resolutions and minimize risk
Oversee financial process to ensure compliance with financial controls as contemplated in the MFMA
Ensure customer service orientation to ensure sound relations with the customer in relation to governance and compliance activities
