Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma/ Degree (Quantity Surveying)
• At least seven years of experience in a Civil Engineering construction environment, including at least one year in a senior role.
• Experience using CCS essential

Knowledge and Skills

• Contract Law and insurances
• Quantity surveying
• Basic Financial reporting and cash management
• Construction methods and outputs, programming and scheduling
• SHEQ legislation and application
• Basic IR and relevant labour legislation
• Key attributes of the role: attention to detail, deadline driven and ability to work autonomously
• Proven ability to manage a team of Quantity Surveyors
• Able to handle conflict and able to negotiate
