Snr Specialist: Building Standards - HSET19389 at City of Ekurhuleni

Minimum Requirements:

• Post Graduate Qualification in Town Planning or Building Science/ Equivalent Qualification
• 5 - 10 years' relevant experience in a similar environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop a building control inspection plan aligned to the department's strategy
• Ensure efficient flow, dissemination and management of land use in building control process and information
• Identify, diagnose and recommend improvements and provide specialist support and advice when required in area of expertise
• Implement and provide input regarding governance, risk and compliance practices and escalate unresolved matter for investigation and resolution
• Ensure that financial management delivery processes comply with internal control and governance standards and report on any deviations
