About the job
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our public relations team. As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing Social Media campaigns for a major TV client and the agency
Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
Define most important social media KPIs
Produce, manage and oversee social media content
Community management
Develop briefs and manage designers.
Measure the success of every social media campaign
Use digital marketing tools such as Sprout, Facebook Business, LinkedIn campaign manager
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
Track and analyze SEO in order to provide effective solutions for content optimization
Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media
Account and client management
Work closely with PR teams to develop integrated communication strategies
Requirements
5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
Exceptional writer and creative content production skills.
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Experience in Google Ads and the Google suite of analytics tools
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
Good understanding of social media KPIs
Familiarity with web design and publishing
Excellent multitasking skills
Great leadership skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Honours degree in Journalism, communication, marketing or similar field
