About the role:

• The Level III Software Engineer is a key member of a cross-functional team, responsible for the entire software development lifecycle from concept to operation.
• They design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and future requirements.
• Additionally, they guide and support developers and stakeholders in resolving engineering problems.
• The Full Stack Software Engineer develops and maintains both front-end and back-end components of web applications, working on all layers of the application stack.
• They build solutions that offer optimal performance, reliability, and scale, while creating great client experiences.
• The team focuses on credit business banking, building backend services that integrate into core credit teams and front-end applications for the business bank app.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Grade 12 National Certificate (Minimum)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Preferred)  
• 6+ years’ proven experience in Full stack software development, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language).
