Job Description

Java J2EE Developer with strong hands-on Experience with Java technologies, ReactJs and SQL. Good communication is required. Fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. He/she will need to collaborate and support requests coming from multiple stakeholders. Candidate should be proactive and be able to handle tasks/activities independently. Key responsibilities include.

Responsibilities

• Develop bank internal web applications using latest technologies.
• Designs and implement software solutions based on business requirements.
• Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
• Performs final quality checks/testing of other developer’s code in the remediation of break/fix items.
• Evaluates new software development tools to improve development to market for toolset enhancements.
• Applies systems analysis and design techniques to design, develop, test, implement and debug client specific proprietary computer systems and client/server/Web applications using standard programming/scripting languages and testing tools, and databases and servers.
• Works under minimal supervision

Experience Range

4-6 Years

Foundational Skills

• Experience using ReactJs techniques such as Redux, Hook etc.,
• Good hands on experience with HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap
• Knowledge on ADA compliance and screen readers
• Understanding of REST and SOAP architecture
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Should have the ability to clearly express ideas
• Experience working with Agile Methodology
• Experience with automated SDLC solutions (CI/CD)

Desired skills

• Strong hands-on design and development experience with Java/J2EE Technologies
• Good hands on experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Servlets, JSP, Oracle, JUnit
• Experience in Java Design Patterns like creational, structural and behavioral design patterns
• Working experience with Oracle PL/SQL (MongoDB - added advantage)
• Project management tool JIRA and working experience in Maven, Jenkins, Github (Bitbucket, Artifactory, Confluence, Ansible Tower) will be an added advantage
• Self-starter capability, ability to acquire new skills autonomously
• Must be able to interact and co-ordinate with distributed & Cross-functional teams
• Assisting with the business cases and understanding stakeholder’s expectations and objectives
