Grade 12. Technical Qualification in plumbing will be an added advantage. Plumbing Trade test will be an added advantage. Welding and fitting certificates will be an added advantage. Valid C1 Driver’s license with PDP. Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of plan layout. Hard working, self-motivated and self-disciplined person. 2 3 years’ experience in general maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing tasks with a Water Board or Water Services Authority.
DUTIES
Supervise and control the team’s daily productivity and tasks. Schedule work orders for team. Ensures the safety of the team. Administrative duties and reporting on work orders completed to Foreman/Superintendent.
Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing/water related infrastructure used for water distribution under supervision of the plumber. Install, repair and maintain underground water piping systems.
Administration management related to functions associated with the post including reporting, signing of leave, etc. Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
