Specialist: Assessments - Midrand at Vodafone Global Enterprise

Role Purpose/Business Unit:

Registered HPCSA individual to provide the full assessment function which includes test administration, scoring, and writing reports, including assessment centres, and offering feedback to all relevant stakeholders, for all Bands.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Set-up and conduct psychometric assessments in line with internal and external regulations (HPCSA)
• Run assessment centres (online assessments, role play activities, business cases, etc)
• Track assessment completion
• Compile Assessment Reports
• Conduct feedback sessions with line managers and candidates
• Deliver assessment and process development interventions to stakeholders
• Research and implement assessment related projects/interventions.
• Provide support in terms of recruitment and selection at Senior Bands.
• Build relationships with all departments in order to provide high quality service 
• Communicate issues regarding test providers, assessments, regulations, ethical issues, assessment conditions and service delivery according to agreements
• Ensure test centre administration proceeds according to policies, procedures, rules, regulations and timeframe set out internally and by external regulators
• Assist with departmental initiatives, tasks and projects on an ad hoc basis
• Maintain assessment instruments
• Compile project status and monthly reports
• Keep up-to-date with trends, legislation and best practices within Assessment field to enhance service delivery

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A 3yr tertiary qualification in Psychology/Industrial Psychology - essential 
• Registered Psychometrist/Psychologist with HPCSA - essential
• A post-graduate qualification will be advantageous
• Registration in various assessment instruments and related processes (advantageous)
• Sound understanding and knowledge of cognitive functioning and competencies, competency based interviewing and project management.
• Psychometrist: 3-5 years’ experience in administering, analysing psychometric assessments (including Assessment Centres), report writing and feedback for recruitment and/or development purposes - essential
• OR
• Psychologist: 2-3 years’ experience in administering and analysing psychometric assessments (including Assessment Centres) and feedback for recruitment and/or development purposes - essential.
