Responsibilities
Operational deliverables

• Define data and identify assets within their own data domains to eliminate conflict with other data elements.
• Create processes and procedures along with access controls to monitor adherence. This includes establishing internal policies an d
• standards and enforcing those policies.
• Maintain quality of the data using customer feedback, concerns, questions; internal reporting metrics; evaluating and identif yin g
• issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.
• Optimize workflows and communications.
• Monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use
• data to help in day to day decision making.
• Ensure compliance and security of the data.
• Responsible for protecting data while providing information on potential risks and offering regulatory guidance.
• Perform data validation
• Develop and implement standards and guidelines
• Track data from its inception and data flow to downstream consumers
• Reporting
• Report on a monthly basis to management relating to progress made within the sub division and in accordance with the
• measurement metrics set by the organisation
• Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects as and when necessary

Qualifications
Education

• Minimum of 3 year tertiary qualification in Engineering, Data Sciences, Computer Science, IT or Biological Sciences

Experience 

• Minimum 1 years’ experience including:
•  in telecommunications industry
•  Experience working in a medium to large organization
•  Exposure to Analytics technology
•  Experience in data management and governance
