Specialist ERP Supply - Johannesburg at South32

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Governance, analysis, improvement, design, monitoring, innovation, availability management and risk management relating to the SAP Supply Chain domain;
• Managing people, processes and technology through the stabilization, maintenance, continuous improvement projects and innovation for the Supply domain at South32.  In this role the ERP Supply Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the Supply Chain Function, Business Operations and other Functions are supported, and value is delivered through the ERP solutions, services and practices;
• to the vision and strategy for the ERP Platform delivery model;
• Contribute to the development of the ERP Supply roadmap and Technology Plans;
• Manage the support vendor on delivery within the module in terms of SLA, deliverable timelines and quality;
• Effectively manage the relevant assets of the ERP Platform, including procedures, policies and documentation;
• Ensure that all deliverables are met for the TAG (Technical Advisory Group) process;
• Continuous self-development in the relevant SAP area and domain.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain, Sourcing and Procurement modules and Ariba;
• Experience in working in SAP Sourcing and Procurement solutions on a global scale;
• Demonstrated understanding of the SAP ERP system and integration points within SAP ERP, and Peripheral systems e.g. ARIBA

Qualifications for this role are:

•  Btech or degree in IT;
•  SAP Sourcing and Procurement Certification;
•  SAP Ariba Certification
