Specialist: Order Management at MTN

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
The Order Manager will ensure the service orders are fulfilled in line with the MTN GlobalConnect Order Management strategy by ensuring high quality, cost effective and value-driven services towards MTN OPCOs commercial units and the wholesale market in general. The services include Voice, Non-Voice (messaging and signaling) and all VAS products.

• This position will handhold Sales, Marketing, Product and Technology teams for inter-team dependencies of executing the customer and OpCos’ service orders.
• This position will handle end to end activities, right from picking up the orders to the completion in terms of Ready of service. The role will also ensure the well documented HOTO (Hand Over-Take Over) process for each order.
• The position would ensure to execute the orders in most cost-effective methods by analyzing various options and in well-structured an planned manner.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education:

• Minimum 4 Year Academic Degree Engineering or Sciences

Experience:

• Minimum of 8+ years in relevant experience in Order Management in Telecom or IT related industry.
• An experience preferably in Voice or non-Voice telecommunication industry and/or related sectors such as OSS, BSS etc.
• Relevant experience in Telecommunication services, configurations, capacity/performance management and interconnect related fields
• Relevant experience in program management.
