    Specialist - Process Solution and Improvement (Midrand)

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • Background and root cause analysis artefacts (PowerPoint, excel or word) of system investigations into current fraud modus operandi.
    • Data artefacts and analysis of current fraud trends. 
    • Reports on fraud statistics and progress of fraud and revenue savings initiatives at Vodacom South Africa. 
    • Business Requirements Specifications or Change Specifications artefacts to implement fraud or revenue saving solutions. 
    • Fraud Tools and Initiatives Roadmap. 
    • PI Planning artefacts to assist the PSI Teams in ensuring that quarterly PI commitments are met and planned for. 
    • Extracting and analysing information to aid the Forensic Services Department in new or ongoing investigations. 
    • Reconciliation artefacts from data artefacts across all Vodacom South Africa CRMs. 
    • Creation of urgent memos to change process, systems, policies, rules and procedures on Vodacom Information Systems. 
    • Audit Logs to track CRM User activities to track possible fraud operandi. 

    The Ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Must have technical/professional qualifications: 
    • Grade 12/Matric essential
    • 3 year Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Relevant field (Essential). 
    • 3 -5 years of IT experience essential, preferably in a Billing, CRM or Data Environment  
    • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. 

    Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

    • Working with, evaluating and manipulating data.
    • Intermediate/Advanced SQL (PLSQL) and/or Informix (Essential)
    • Experience with CRMS, Systems, Process and Data Structures. 
    • Strong Interpersonal Skills. 
    • Presentation and communicating skills. 
    • Has extensive knowledge of Vodacom’s Products, Services and Business Processes.
    • Tactically astute, with proven track record in the delivery of challenging business results. 
    • Creating monthly/weekly reports on fraud findings/ causes/ recommendations and statistics with support from Senior Specialist and Principal Specialist Process Solution and Improvement.
