Job Description:

Manage and optimizes the operations of the ERP platform, ensuring seamless and efficient use of enterprise resource planning systems

Key responsibilities:

• Support the smooth execution of day-to-day operations of the SAP AOP platform (Escalations, Demand, release, system outages, privileged access management, service introductions, project stage gates)
• Schedule & oversee ERP system enhancements.
• Assist with the development of ERP-related policies and procedures.
• Assist with control reviews, ensuring relevant evidence is secured.
• Proactively monitor systems & implement improvements to uplift ERP system’s availability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure internal processes are understood and adhered to
• Manage third party support teams to ensure adherence to SLA.
• Drive 3rd party service improvement plans

Qualifications:

• An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in computer science, engineering/technology or equivalent OR
• A proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity.

EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of operations in an SAP ERP S/4HANA context
• Very good understanding of system architecture, ERP governance (demand, deployment) and ERP Operating models
• Advanced level in governing changes to IT systems and software
• Experience in integrating and analyzing data from various sources to support data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with systems landscape and data flows
• Familiarity with technical documentation, including system policies and procedures, architecture diagrams, process workflows, and user guides.
• Ability to identify and respond appropriately to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience in understanding and managing risks that technology related ERP projects pose to the production landscape.
