    Specialist: Transactional Banking Sales - CIB

    Job Summary

    • Are you a commercially driven Transactional Banking specialist with strong experience in Trade Finance, International Banking, Working Capital Solutions or Domestic Electronic Banking?
    • This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in growing a high-value client portfolio, originating new business and delivering tailored banking solutions that support clients’ domestic and international growth ambitions.
    • In this specialist sales role, you will provide value-added transactional banking solutions to commercial clients, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
    • You will identify and engage new-to-bank clients, deepen existing relationships and collaborate across internal and external stakeholder networks to deliver market-relevant Trade and Working Capital solutions.

    Job Description

    In this role you will;

    • Develop and execute a proactive client acquisition strategy to grow Transactional Banking revenues and market share.
    • Identify, research and target new-to-bank and existing-to-bank opportunities across assigned sectors and geographies, with a particular focus on acquiring Trade business from competitor banks.
    • Manage and grow an allocated client portfolio through proactive relationship management, portfolio reviews and solution-led engagement.
    • Structure and execute Trade and Working Capital solutions aligned to client needs, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage live transactions and deal pipelines from origination through to implementation, ensuring a seamless client experience.
    • Build strong partnerships with bankers, coverage teams, credit, product partners, operational stakeholders, business associations and key market participants.
    • Monitor industry, economic and market developments to identify new opportunities, emerging risks and sector-specific insights.
    • Operate within approved risk appetite, credit policies, Exchange Control requirements, ICC rules, sanctions standards and internal governance frameworks.

    • Minimum of 5–8 years’ banking experience within Trade Finance, International Banking, Working Capital Solutions, Domestic Electronic Banking, Corporate Banking or Business Banking.
    • Proven track record in acquiring new clients and growing portfolio revenues.
    • Strong experience in structuring trade and working capital solutions for commercial or corporate clients.
    • Ability to manage complex transactions and navigate multiple stakeholders across the deal lifecycle.
    • Experience presenting transactions to credit and governance forums.
    • Strong commercial acumen, relationship-building capability and market intelligence.
    • Sound understanding of banking regulations, risk requirements and governance standards relevant to transactional banking.

    Education

    • Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
