Sr HR Business Partner at IQVIA

Provide support and guidance to less experienced members of an HR team in their day-to-day operational roles. Support the continuous improvement of the HR function through development and implementation of HR programs in an assigned geography or business line. Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and management across assigned service areas, business units or departments. As HR Business Partner, with guidance, provide expertise, support and advice to assigned management teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function.

Main responsibilities include:

• Partnering with BU heads on all people related queries, initiatives, interventions.
• With support from the Regional HR Director roll out and implement HR processes and projects
• Work closely with the other HR BPs in South Africa across other units and provide support where and when required.
• Facilitates alignment between HR strategy and organizational/functional strategy while closely partnering with GBU/RBU and Country leaders.
• Drives HR projects, programs and policies to support global/regional/country strategy.
• Implement talent review, succession planning, workforce planning;
• Be the first point of contact for all employees within the managed teams
• Handle all onboarding and exit procedures.
• Final submission of all payroll changes to the payroll department.
• Interface with Finance team where and when necessary and check all approvals related to financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience
• 4 years experience within an HR function as generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience
• Professional HR accreditation
• Extensive knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
