    SSA Franchise Manager: Lipton Ice Tea - Location Free

    Responsibilities

    What we’re looking for:

    The Franchise Lead for Pepsi Lipton for Africa is responsible for driving business growth through franchise fundamentals and expanding business in white space markets for Africa as per the Seed markets strategy.

    As per strategic plan the business in Africa is expected to double to 12 MM 8 oz cases by 2025.

    • Driving our seed model for growth in South Africa, the 5th largest beverages market in AMESAA
    • Making a transition plan for future business development for South Africa
    • Turnaround the business in Nigeria
    • Expand into multiple white spaces in Africa with local manufacturing like Morocco, Algeria, French West Africa, Ghana etc – this would require identifying new bottlers, Business model alignment and then building up capability for launch
    • Influencing key bottling partners

    Driving flawless execution of Franchise Fundamentals

    • Lead & develop 3 years Joint Business plan
    • Year one of the 3-year JBP will require developing an AOP in line with BU MWB plan
    • From JBP develop a 3-year BDA with bottling partners
    • Carryout System Strategic Assessment on bottling partners
    • Use the Push/Pull execution model in conjunction with CBS model to build brand plan by channel and customer
    • Building a Franchise Lens for each country for internal & external reviews
    • Manage Franchise Governance in line with GCS and the SOA’s
    • Develop a system profitability lens for the lower value market conditions of Africa

    Qualifications

    What will qualify you for the role:

    • Franchise management experience within Pepsico / Sales management experience in other partners
    • Experience for at least 7+years
    • Deep rooted understanding of beverage industry, total system & bottler economics
    • Experience in at least 1 African market
    • Experienced in managing P&L
    • Strong execution drive , to get plans implemented
    • Business and commercial acumen to drive profitability
