Purpose of the Job

To ensure that the stakeholder engagement portfolio is adequately supported, and that the role is equipped to deliver best practice in stakeholder engagement and support the stakeholder engagement and transformation function

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE DONE BEFORE:

Baseline:

• NQF level 6 (Diploma in Business Administration/ Social Sciences)
• 5 years’ experience in Stakeholder Engagement (entailing community liaison, facilitation, problem solving, report writing and project coordination)
• Extensive experience in managing conflict within communities and stakeholders
• Extensive experience in negotiations with multiple parties

Advantageous:

• ABP (Association of BBBEE Practitioners)
• Stakeholder liaison with Local Authorities and community structures such as business forums, community activists and other non-governmental organizations
• 2 years’ experience in Commercial/ Finance CSI/ HR or Supply Chain

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Project Management

• Coordinate projects and management Transformation & Stakeholder events and initiatives in line with strategic objectives

Stakeholder Engagement Framework

• Prepare and facilitate roundtable discussions and Stakeholder engagement forums with internal and external stakeholders

BBBEE Advisory Services

• Conduct first line assessment of BBBEE proposals, events, response handling for Commercial and Retail

compliance & risk mitigation

• Conduct environmental scanning (entailing stakeholder profiling) and risk mitigation on all emerging stakeholder and transformation imperatives for Engen
