    Aspire Tech Graduate - Software Engineering

    About the Role

    • As a Software Engineer, you'll perform basic software development assignments within a particular function or product.

    Responsibilities

    • Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
    • Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
    • Completing simple bug fixes and resolving basic technical issues.
    • Implementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviews, under the guidance of senior engineers.
    • Keeping abreast of new technology developments.

    Requirements

    • Possess a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering or related field.

    Global Automation Manager

    About the Role

    As the Global Automation Manager, you will be a key member of the Global Customer Operation team, responsible for digitally transforming business processes. You will drive automation projects and initiatives with a broad scope (i.e., global) and high organizational impact. You will also manage and deliver complex assignments and projects to ensure our strategic priorities are met.

    To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of managing automation projects and teams. You will also need to have a deep understanding of process improvement and impact.

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting L&P Operations by driving key strategic projects and serving as a global technology & business process expert for automation
    • Planning and successfully executing automation-related projects to meet goals and support strategic priorities, delivering recommended improvements that support the business rationale.
    • Leading REPH and domestic dedicated automation resources to assist in code creation, testing, and audit requirements
    • Working with GCO leadership to identify the best solutions for process improvement initiatives.
    • Partnering with GCO practitioners to develop process mapping, root cause analysis, and benchmarking of processes.
    • Working collaboratively with key resources to ensure correct implementation between environments and audit requirements are followed.

    Requirements

    • Demonstrate previous experience with process automation
    • Have experience in leading projects in their entirety and in handling multi-projects with strong project management
    • Understanding of business operations and processes, including knowledge of Global Order-To-Cash, Product Services, AR, Credits/Collections, Customer Support, and Sales
    • Demonstrate experience in business process mapping
    • Demonstrate communication skills to succinctly present ideas to all audience levels, including senior management.
    • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a cross-functional organization.

    Software Engineer III

    About our Team

    This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Work with peers, architects, and business stake holders to design, build, and test system components.
    • Interface with other team members and technical personnel throughout the company to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
    • Conduct research and implement proofs of concept to aid other engineers and management in decision making.
    • Keep up to date on new technology, standards, protocols, and tools in areas relevant to Software development.

    What you’ll need:

    • Good oral and written communications skills with the ability to lead and engage in discussion with both the business and technical staff.  
    • 5+ years’ experience as a software developer on a software development team.
    • Experience working on an agile team utilizing defect tracking tools, trunk-based development, CI/CD, etc.
    • 4 years’ experience focused on developing software using C# or Python.  Balance may be experience developing natively using React, Java script, Angular, Vue js,  etc.
    • Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (AWS technologies : AWS Lambda, RDS, Dynamodb, S3, SNS, SQS is preferred).

    Nice to have:

    • Experience using Docker & Kubernetes.
