    Studio Account Manager - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    THIS ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE ENTAILS BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Developing & maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders & clients
    • Practicing excellent work quality & professional conduct
    • Managing a portfolio of numerous campaigns from concept through to final roll-out
    • Compiling detailed/informative briefs for creative and strategic departments
    • Ability to unpack briefs, and understand what is required from the client
    • Scheduling & arranging client meetings with all relevant parties
    • Creative reviews of all work which comes out of Studio
    • Strategic approach to briefs and work within the Sixty60 portfolio
    • Overseeing the management of related logistics for client projects

    Digital Insights Analyst - Cape Town CBD

    Description

    Data Collection:

    • You will be required to collect and analyse digital data from various sources, including websites, mobile apps, social media platforms, ecommerce and media reports as well as any other online advertising channels and data and trends related platforms or tools. 
    • It is vital that you ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency by implementing data governance best practices and performing regular quality assurance checks.

    Data Analysis: 

    • A crucial part of your role will be to mine, analyse, scrutinize and interpret data from multiple digital data sets and sources
    • You will be required to examine and decode trends and patterns within each channel, platform or tools intricate datasets. 
    • Identify trends, patterns and correlations in digital data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for improving marketing strategies, website and channel performance.

    Data Visualization: 

    • Data visualization is the next important step in your ability to analyse the data and you need to be able to display visually in charts and graphs what the data is saying. 
    • It is crucial that you have a sound understanding of the data and the ability to interpret the data to provide actionable insights and findings for the Strategy team and or other agency departments.
    • You will be required to develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.

    Nsight Evaluation & Generation: 

    • You will be required to scrutinize data and produce actionable strategic insights. 
    • Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations

    Performance and Measurement Plans:

    • Website tracking plans and implementation in Google Analytics 4 using Google Tag Manager.
    • Must be able to set up events, goals, funnels etc. 
    • Be able to maintain current or create new measurement plans for strategy implementation and or clients' needs for benchmarking and/or KPI tracking requirements.

    Reports:

    • Monthly digital channel reports including organic and paid dataset, looking at digital platforms such as website and ecommerce, search, social, media and mailer analysis, as well as insights and recommendations for performance enhancement.
    • Setup of in-depth brand performance reports on platforms like or similar to Google Data Studio as well as utilising existing and future agency tech stacks/tools.
    • Post campaign analyses including website and ecommerce, search, social and mailer channels, with insights and recommendations to inform strategic direction.

    Platform Maintenance:

    • Maintenance of client Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager accounts, resolving issues with clients when they occur and directing the client to adjust where needed. 
    • Maintenance and updates of tracking documents across all brands like UTM’s.

    Presentations & People Management:

    • Client presentations of post campaign analysis and tracking strategies. 
    • Liaison with internal teams on how to improve digital advertising.
    • Ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations to clients.

    Research:

    • Sharing best practice and Google suite updates with the internal and client teams. 
    • Sharing any new insights, learnings, or findings with the agency.

    Requirements

    Minimum relevant experience required: 

    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the marketing and/or communications industry.
    • Advanced experience with MS Office products is essential – experience with Power Apps like Power BI (or similar) is a bonus. 
    • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio.
    • Experience in reporting platforms such as Brandwatch, GWI, Similar Web, Screaming Frog and SEM Rush etc is beneficial.
    • In-depth knowledge of social media analytics and insights.
    • Excellent understanding of Excel and Google Sheets.
    • Proficient in mining, working with, and visualizing data.
    • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like SQL, Python, or R would make for a standout candidate. 
    • Excellent understanding of all digital advertising channels including website, ecommerce, social media, mailers, and paid media.

    The job scope will include but will not be limited to the following:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client through excellent work quality and professional conduct.
