    Statutory Obligations and Performance Coordinator (Gauteng)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Providing project coordination support for the full range of functions managed by the marketing
      department, including website and social media management, as well as email, sms, print, out of
      home, AV and other campaigns
    • Ensuring efficient administrative support to the marketing department
    • Assisting with managing the department budget and other financial transactions
    • Supporting the roll-out of all marketing campaigns

    •Ensuring the effective execution of all statutory obligations including but not limited to:

    •  Branch & Constituency launches
    •  Regional & Provincial congresses
    •  Provincial councils
    •  Candidate selection
    •  Performance management
    •  Casual vacancies
    •  Membership administration
    •  Internal elections

    Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • 3 years’ experience in an administration role in an office environment
    • Performance management experience advantageous
    • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom)
    • Information system and technology skills at intermediate level
    • Strong coordinating and time management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
    • An ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
    • An ability to work effectively and energetically around a demanding work schedule
    • Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail
    • Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
    • Proven record of initiative, problem solving, and the ability to recognize and implement improvements to systems
    • Commitment to the principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance
    • Willingness to go the extra mile, which include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
    • Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and have access to an insured vehicle
