Stock Controller at Hyundai Automotive South Africa

Job Description

• The Stock Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of stock control within the organization. This includes monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, conducting regular stock counts, and ensuring the accuracy of stock data in the system.
• The Stock Controller will work closely with the purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure efficient stock management and assist with identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demands
• Track stock movements and update stock records in the system
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system data
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to stock management
• Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize stock layout and storage practices
• Generate and analyze stock reports to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient stock control and minimize stock losses
• Assist with the development and implementation of inventory management systems and technology solutions

Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate
• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of stock control best practices and industry standards
