The Role

• Are you ready to take on the role of a Strategy Project Manager? As the grease in the team, you will ensure that our projects run smoothly, handling administration and logistics globally, and enabling our strategists to deliver successful outcomes. As a Strategy Project Manager your specific accountabilities will include:

• Setting up client meetings and taking minutes, while keeping a sharp eye on scope, budget, and timelines.
• Creating, updating, and managing project timelines using various CRM Systems/Microsoft Suites.
• Ensuring project folders are organized and all relevant information is saved.
• Compiling accurate overall project costs.
• Reconciling all costs at the end of a project.
• Booking and preparing documentation for suppliers/freelancers as required.
• Liaising with the Qual PM team to ensure qual fieldwork timelines and budgets are within scope.
• Ensuring client invoices are requested, purchase orders are raised, and budgets are clearly scoped.
• Proactively supporting the strategist to procure and prepare requirements for workshops or co-creation groups.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best work with Huxly and provide competitive costs.

This exciting role will be based in Johannesburg, with a hybrid work pattern, supporting activities from our UK offices in London and Oxfordshire.

Requirements

Essential Skills/Qualities:

• Previous experience in Traffic Management
• Ideally some experience working within a agency enviroment
• 'Smarts' and charisma – the ability to wow the team with warmth and incisive thinking.
• Previous experience using CRM systems, such as Monday.com.
• Commercial exposure to Marketing/Strategy Management
• Client management experience is essential.
• Project Management experience is Essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Research Methodologies (Advantageous).
• The ability to work collaboratively with teams both locally and internationally.
• High strategic curiosity, ideally underpinned by a relevant qualification in marketing strategy or project management.
• Strong process and administrative skills.
• Accurate with great attention to detail.
• Articulate, expressive, credible, positive, warm, and easy to work with.
• A Passion for and some experience in market research would be advantageous.
• Sufficient Internet Connectivity Access (Respective of Load Shedding).
