Job Description

•  A leading construction and engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to join their team in Paarl Cape Town.
• The successful candidate will be involved in the design, analysis, and supervision of structural projects, including steel and concrete structures, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards

 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and mixed-material structures.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct load calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure design integrity.
• Review and check structural designs for compliance with local codes and standards.
• Assist in project management, including scheduling, reporting, and coordination.
• Participate in site inspections and provide technical guidance as needed.

 Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
