Switchboard Operator KZN (Permanent Position) at Lancet Laboratories

Job Summary:

• To receive and transfer calls from client to relevant departments and dial out calls on behalf of staff.

Minimum Criteria Needed:

• Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification

Minimum Experience:

• 0-1 Yrs Relevant Working Experience

 Key Performmance Areas:

• Ensures a high level of customer service at all times
• Answers telephone calls assisting clients with information and transferring calls to the relevant departments.
• Handles outgoing calls dialling out all business calls for staff to ensure that telephone usage is strictly kept for business, minimising costs due to excessive private telephone calls.
• Takes and telephonically forwards messages for staff and Pathologists not available at the time of the call.
• Performs basic house-keeping duties to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Adheres to Quality Assurance protocols.
