Systems Accountant (Temporary: Fixed Term Contract) at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To assume ownership for executing key accounting functions and providing an accurate financial status of all systems across the business. 
• To play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data within Capitec’s banking system in order to drive operational excellence and financial integrity in an efficient and timeous manner.
• To provide subject matter expertise, technical know-how, experience, oversight and guidance for others in respect of a portfolio, function or department.

Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in reconciliation.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance
• A relevant post-graduate qualification in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Information Systems

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Knowledge

• Management of Accounts.
• Computerised accounting systems and principles (SAP).
• Financial Analysis and Interpretation.
