The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot, the company's rapidly expanding infrastructure. They will work alongside other engineers to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.

Position profile:

Working with a team of IT specialists to design, set up and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and installation of new networking and computing infrastructures.

• Select the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies.

• Monitor systems in the existing network to ensure there are no productivity set-backs.

• Install and configure operating systems and application software.

• Implement best practices for system security and data backups.

• Anticipate potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues when they arise.

• Liaising with vendors and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date with developments.

Experience requirements:

• 5 Years + Industry Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory user management

• Office365 and Exchange mailbox administration

• Working knowledge with Desktop infrastructure and Microsoft ecosystems. (Microsoft Office and Windows)

• Experience with client and server backup software. (Redstor, Attix, DPM, Backup Exec, Commvault)

• Experience with managed AV solutions. (Symantec, Bitdefender, Trend Micro)

Qualifications:

• Senior certificate

• Relevant Microsoft Certifications: MCSE, A+, N+ or other relevant IT Qualifications

Behavioural competency requirements:

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail

• Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative and fast-paced environment

• Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Other requirements:

• Driver’s licence and own transport essential

• Must be willing to work after hours at time

• Must be willing to travel
